We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software products, taking an active role in the testing processes, and working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including both manual and automated testing. Performance testing is an added advantage.
• Collaborate with the QA team and leads to select and implement the most suitable testing tools and frameworks.
• Review product requirements in conjunction with product managers and engineering leads, and design detailed test cases.
• Ensure all testing processes are documented, tracked, and reported on key metrics.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring defects are addressed promptly.
• Lead the creation of automated test scripts and frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Communicate progress, risks, and QA statuses effectively with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, share knowledge, and ensure best practices in QA are maintained.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest QA industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
• Support recruitment efforts and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions for team development.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software testing, ideally within fintech or similar sectors.
• Strong expertise in both manual and automated API testing.
• Proficiency in Java programming and related automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured).
• Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
