Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technology support and escalate issues to Tier 2 and 3 support as necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate data network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and other network devices, implementing changes to enhance performance.
  • Oversee the voice network infrastructure, managing IP PBX, IP phones, and VoIP gateways, and make necessary adjustments for optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Generate periodic reports on IT support operations and initiatives.
  • Educate end users on technology best practices and assist in IT project implementations.
  • Update cash fueling data for analytical purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of qualitative experience in technology deployment or support roles.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 2008 Server operating systems and network infrastructure (Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, File Services).
  • Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based applications and their interaction with the operating system environment.
  • Skills in setting up and managing switches and routers effectively.
  • Excellent report-writing capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work remotely.
  • Solid understanding of IT processes and very good problem-solving abilities, often under various constraints.
